    Resources and Loan Procedures
       

    The Teacher Resource Center at The BRIT SEED School has a wide variety of resources for your use.  To reserve the resources, please e-mail Tracy Friday at tfriday@brit.org with the following information:

    • Your name
    • Phone number
    • The name and quantity of the items you would like to reserve
    • When you would like to reserve them (you may check out items for a two-week period)
    • When you will pick them up at BRIT

    You will receive an e-mail confirming your reservation with the amount of the deposit you will need to bring with you when you pick up the materials.  

     

    You may also reserve items in person during the Teacher Resource Center regular hours of operation, which are

    • Monday-Friday 3 p.m. - 5 p.m.
    • First and third Tuesday of every  month 3 p.m. - 8 p.m. (Teacher Tuesdays)
    • Third Saturday of every month 10 a.m.- 2 p.m.
    • By appointment
       

    On the day you come to BRIT to pick up your materials, you will receive a loan agreement form for you to complete and submit with your deposit.

     

    Conditions of the Loan

    The user agrees to pick up and return the resources to The BRIT SEED School after the two week loan period (10 working days).  If the resource is needed for longer than the loan period of two weeks, then the user will call BRIT in advance to assure there are no scheduling conflicts.  The user will pay a deposit in the form of a check or credit card.  (Deposit amounts vary based on the items on loan.) The BRIT SEED School will not cash the check or run the credit card unless the item is not returned at the end of the agreed loan period or if an item is damaged.  The user is responsible for assuring that all items are accounted for and in the same condition in which they were when checked out. Damaged or missing items will be replaced at the expense of the user.  The user will forfeit the deposit and remit any balance due on replacement cost.  The user also agrees to complete a resource evaluation survey before any deposit is remitted to the user for returned and undamaged items.

    The BRIT SEED School currently does not charge a rental fee to use our resources; however, we do require a deposit.  Please click on the link below to learn about our available resources and deposit procedures.
